Very Special Celebrations offers secure online ordering using our simple shopping cart system in conjunction with PayPal. We want our customers to feel they can order with confidence, so we use PayPal's secure system which encrypts all information including your credit card and personal information. We hope this encryption provides you with peace of mind.
Whilst we take every precaution to ensure that our customers are transacting with us in a secure environment, Very Special Celebrations does not accept any responsibility for any losses or damages incurred by you if your credit card has been used in an unauthorised manner or fraudulently.
Although excellent security measures are in place, we understand that some customers simply do not feel comfortable shopping online, so we are happy to accept orders via telephone, email or fax, or you can order by visiting our Brisbane store in person.
Payment
This online store accepts payment via credit card or funds from your Paypal account if applicable. Although we use Paypal as our payment gateway, you do not need a Paypal account to process a payment via this method.
No goods will be dispatched without full payment. Pricing on our website is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST of 10%. Prices are subject to change without notice but once your order is placed, your price will be honoured.
Delivery
If you are located in Brisbane or surrounds and wish to visit our shop to collect your order, please choose the relevant option at checkout, and there will be no delivery charge applied. We will then contact you to confirm a date for collection.
We currently deliver within Australia only. Delivery is via Australia Post or Fastway Couriers depending on your location.

Some products in our online store incur higher delivery costs due to their size. This information is included in individual product descriptions, if it applies.
Please allow up to 10 business days (Monday to Friday) for delivery of all products. Some custom-made personalised products may take up to 15 or 20 business days to be delivered, and some others may take up to 25 business days. Relevant information for personalised products is included in individual product descriptions.
Returns and Exchanges
We take special care to ensure all our products are in perfect condition. If for some reason you feel you need to return a product, please contact us immediately to discuss the circumstances and we will do our best to assist you. All refunds/returns/exchanges are at the discretion of Very Special Celebrations.
We are unable to give refunds on children's clothing and shoes. However, we do permit exchanges within 7 days (from when purchaser receives garment) if garments are returned with original tags attached and receipt, and have clearly not been worn for an event. If you have had to remove clothing from packaging in order to try it on a child, please return the packaging in the best condition possible. If garments or shoes have clearly been worn, soiled, stained, washed or damaged since purchase, we regret that we will be unable to honour an exchange or give any refund.
Please be aware that if a child has been unable to try garments on in our store, we cannot accept responsibility if it does not fit correctly. We can assist with choosing sizes based on child and garment measurements, but the final decision lies with you, the customer. If something doesn't work out as you had hoped, we will do everything we can to try to help you but each situation is different and depending on your timeframe (when your event is occurring), we may or may not be able to assist. Please allow plenty of time for orders and potential exchanges or alterations.
Refunds or exchanges are not permitted on any products that have been especially made-to-order unless a garment is a standard size and colour that we can hold as stock.
Postage charges to return goods to us and for us to send replacement goods to you, may be the responsibility of you or us, depending on the circumstances. This will be discussed with you if applicable.
Great care is taken to ensure your order is packed carefully and securely to avoid damage in transit and therefore we cannot take responsibility if products arrive at your location in a damaged state. Nor can we take responsibility for a lost parcel if it has been addressed correctly, or for a parcel's delivery is delayed by a carrier. If your order has been sent via Australia Post (Registered), items are insured up to the value of $100. If we send your parcel with Fastway Couriers, all parcels regardless of value, are insured. This may assist us in attempting to address the problem with the relevant delivery company and we may be able to assist you by providing a replacement product, but cannot guarantee that this will be possible within your required time frame (depending on when your special occasion is occurring).
We decide on the most suitable method for delivery depending on where you are located and the nature of the goods you have ordered, so if you are concerned about insurance or anything else regarding delivery, please contact us before placing your order and we will try our best to help (For example, we may arrange additional insurance with Australia Post for products of high value etc).
Customer Privacy
Very Special Celebrations is committed to protecting your privacy and we only use the information that we collect about you to process your order and provide you with excellent customer service.
We may collect the following information from you in order to process your order: Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, Credit Card Details.
We do not automatically add customer email addresses to our mailing list unless you have given us consent to do so.
We do not share customer information with third parties.
